WINE-MAKING
Long and classic vatting (3 weeks to 1 month approx.) and warm running off, directly into
French oak barrels. Fermented and partially aged in finest French oak barrels (of which,
About 50% are new) for almost 18 months.

TASTING NOTES
Colour: Crimson, deep and brilliant.
Bouquet: Nice richness with red and black fruits aromas. The blackberry is elegantly mixed with liquorice, spices and smoked notes.
Palate: The palate is rich, complex and well balanced. Ample and concentrated wines with subtle and mild tannins. The wood is mellow. Complex and long finish of candied black fruits, liquorice with spicy notes. Racy and attractive wine.

FOOD MATCH
Game in sauce. Tasty red meats grilled or simmered such as beef rib, “Poularde” with truffles.
