Domaine Moreux’s Sancerre Blanc is from the terroir of Chavignol and Crézancy. Mostly located on hill-side, the nature all clay and limestone of those both terroirs give to the Domaine Moreux’s Sancerre blanc a wonderful balance with nice notes of fruit and minerality.
Culture raisonnée. Soil is plowed and only organic fertilizer is used when needed.
Gentle pneumatic pressing spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Vinification and maturation in stainless-steel and concrete tanks in contact with a layer of fine lees. Vinification works follow lunar cycle.
Brilliant pale yellow with green tints. Delicate nose of white fruits, citrus and gunflint. Velvety palate boasting beautiful freshness that allows the nose aromas to be released. A very elegant, well-made wine.
Ideal as an aperitif, it will sublimate your entries, your seafood and fish.
