WINE-MAKING
Handpicked harvest on steep terraces Long traditional vatting, including a careful Maceration. Most of the wine is aged into French oak barrels of 228L and 400L, in view of obtaining more refined tannins and greater complexity.

TASTING NOTES
JANCIS ROBINSON “Dark crimson. Intense black fruit cocktail on the nose. Lots of tannin but good weight and balance too. Very, very youthful but solid and eathery.” THE WINE ADVOCATE (JD) “A beautiful, serious effort that offers a sweet bouquet of cassis, black raspberry, tobacco, chocolate and truffle. Dense meaty and medium to full-bodied, with ripe tannin and solid mid-palate depth.”

FOOD MATCH
Duck breast with red berries, hare “à la royale”, game casserole cooked in a wine sauce, tasty grilled or stewed meat.
