Pouilly-Sur-Loire is a rare A.O.C (33 hectares compared to the 1245 hectares for the Pouilly-Fumé). There are only a handful of winemaker which cultivated by tradition.
Culture raisonnée. Soil is plowed and only organic fertilizer is used when needed. Gentle pneumatic pressing spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Vinification and maturation in stainless-steel and concrete tanks in contact with a layer of fine lees. Vinification works follow lunar cycle.
Brilliant pale yellow. Pleasant nose reminiscent of white fruits, citrus, white flowers and a patisserie touch. Ethereal, supple, full and fresh palate with a mineral dimension.
It is the wine of good mood and snack between friends. Very drunkeasily as an aperitif, goes perfectly to the deli and seafood.
